Re: The persistent 'investment rumours' thread on the other site
I remember reading that West Ham transfer budget for next season is likely to be around 30 million again? Might have been the usual journo speculation or Sullivan himself?

Would have to say that I would not expect us to be advancing into the top 4 or even top 6 any time soon with that level of investment again. But lets see what happens. We may see a loan at best or freebie I guess if we can move one or two on first as we are at our financial limit I think Sullivan said?

Its hard to see us moving to the "big club" status which means "richest" if Sullivan and Gold are in charge. That said, if they get us into the position where Everton and Spurs have been in recent years, that would be a big improvement on where we have been since the Premiership came into being. I mean we have been relegated several times since 1992 and not won a thing of note.

They haven't sold yet because the club is worth 100m now and 400m+ in the new stadium, they said it themselves.

Someone offers them 300% to 400% they'll be off. That's not happening quite yet.

Sex shop owner in league with the Freemasons they all fucked their way to the top our owners.

The Destro one where he threw a massive strop and said he was done, only to reappear a few hours later because he wasn't getting attention. Bloke is a colossal helmet.
